**This poll is related to the San Jose City Council election for District 7. 

On June 8, 2010, voters will select the next San Jose Council Member for District 7.  Madison Nguyen, the current Council Member, is campaigning to keep her seat.  Four other candidates will be running against Madison Nguyen.  They include:
  • Rudy Rodriguez, Field Specialist   
  • Minh Duong, Businessman
  • Phu Le, Pharmacist 
  • Viet Nam Nguyen, Recreation Program Specialist
The pictures of the candidates are shown in the same order above.

Many residents of District 7 are Vietnamese and Hispanic.  Let's hope that the best candidate will win based solely on their qualification and abilities to serve the residents of District 7. 

Người dân sống trong khu vực 7 sẽ có cơ hội lựa chọn một trong năm ứng cử viên đại diện trong chính quyền thành phố San Jose.  Năm người đó là Madison Nguyễn, Rudy Rodriguez, Minh Dương, Phu Le và Viet Nguyen.  Hy vọng là sự lựa chọn của đồng bào sẽ dựa hoàn toàn vào tài và khả năng của từng ứng cử viên.

Madison definitely has more office experience than the other candidates. If she continues to reach out and work with those that were against her last year, I think she will be able to serve the community better than the other candidates.

I am not sure if Madison Nguyen is the right person to continue the job. We need a fresh face with fresh ideas.
